Prior to 2005, Kym and her family raised three Angora goats – Maggie, Belle, and a “foster goat” named Goatie.  Kym used the mohair from the goats (via an annual shearing) to create luscious sweaters, scarves, mittens, hats, cloaks, carpets, and ‘wall art’.  Kym had a hand at every step of the process from dying and spinning the mohair to crocheting the pieces into wearable functional art.  A client once said, “Wearing one of Kym’s sweaters is like walking around surrounded by a painting!”

Following the passing of their sweet goats, Kym decided to stop selling her fiber pieces and save the rest of their mohair for family pieces.
